Acerca de Hwaseong Jangdae
Ubicado en la cima de la montaña Paldalsan en Suwon, provincia de Gyeonggi, Hwaseong Jangdae fue construido en enero de 1794 durante el reinado del rey Jeongjo. Cuando el rey subió a Paldalsan, comentó:
“Este lugar, elegido desde el punto más alto de la montaña, es perfecto para observar lugares distantes. Su grandeza y apertura hacen que parezca que el cielo y la tierra mismos crearon este puesto de mando”.
También se llama Seojangdae (Puesto de Mando Occidental) porque se encuentra en el lado occidental de la Fortaleza de Suwon Hwaseong.
