デザインストーリー・商品詳細

心をつかまれるのは、ふたりの宇宙飛行士と旅立っていく船とのあいだに広がる、何もない空間です。オレンジのバックパックを背負ったふたりは、ドーム型の基地とそびえ立つ尖塔のそばで氷の上に立ち、ピーチとスレートグレーの巨大な帆が小さなブロンズの船を連れ去っていくのを見送っています。足元に記された The Long Sail と Outbound 2311 の文字は、ふたりが乗ることのない旅の半券のようにも見えます。

昔のパルプSFアートに、静かな別れが描き込まれたデザインです。小さな船に灯るオレンジ色の窓は、何度見ても目を奪われるディテールです。パーカーに載せると、古本屋で見つけた一冊のような趣があります。毎年冬になると古典SFを読み返す、そんなご友人にぴったりです。
