Design story & product details

Start with the whiskers. Each one is a single fine line, and the seal behind them stares straight out with the calm of an animal that has nothing planned today. It is drawn like an old engraving in stipple and hatching, with a round spotted belly and one flipper resting on it. Swashed serif letters above it say Available at Low Tide.

The joke is a seal keeping office hours, and the careful drawing makes it land. Give this heavyweight tee to the friend who checks the tide chart before agreeing to weekend plans.
