Design story & product details
Large cream letters with rust-red, angled depth spell out “BENEATH THE OVERPASS” across an artwork packed edge to edge. The lettering’s block forms carry dark outlines and scattered marks, echoing the weathered structures below. Framed by dark drip borders, the scene drops under a structure where a figure in a rust-red hat and cream hoodie hangs above a skateboard, arms and knees wide as if mid-flight. Converging beams and pale concrete supports mark out the ceiling’s span, while the pavement beneath reflects streaks and smudges, keeping in step with Portland’s damp days.
Rain falls in pale streaks at the left, vanishing beyond bridge towers and a distant cityline, while a lone streetlight and buildings draw out the right edge.
