Design story & product details
Brick-red Korean words are built in hefty, uneven block forms, each edged in dark linework and given a brown offset shadow. Their shallow arch leaves an intentional breath of white for the faint steam rising from the bowl below. The phrase means “Enjoy your meal today, too,” a casual wish rendered here with the blunt, inked character of a woodblock.
- The black stone bowl has a thick gray rim stippled with fine flecks, and the trivet beneath it shows a brown wood-grain pattern.
- Within the rice, dark green leaves, pale sprouts, orange strips, brown stems, and sliced mushrooms stay in distinct, tightly packed sections.
- A glossy orange-yellow yolk overlaps the egg’s center; a dark red mound meets its lower-right edge, with cream-colored seeds scattered over the toppings.
