Design story & product details
Block serif lettering gives the artwork its first read, with CAFE formed in dark green, lighter green patches breaking through each letter, cream borders, and tan shadows shifted behind the forms. OPEN is packed close beneath in brown and gold, finished with dark reddish outlines and dimensional right edges.
Cafe Open is rendered for the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt through a red illustrated cup with a loop handle facing right and a wide elliptical red saucer beneath it. Cream and gold stripes catch the cup’s left side, while deep brown shading takes over the right.
Brown bubbles circle the drink under a tall cream swirl that curls at its tip and carries a brown outline. Thin tan rays extend behind the cup and saucer, leaving white gaps that keep the rays distinct from the looping ornament around them.
Mirrored olive-brown vines curl along both sides of the composition. Beneath the saucer, dark reddish script reads “Come in & Enjoy!” before two broad decorative flourishes complete the design.
