Description
The artwork is a vertical composition packed edge to edge with lines of text, each rendered in Western-style serif lettering. The phrase spells out, in full: BE NOT OVERCOME OF EVIL, BUT OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD. ROMANS 12:21.
The arrangement steps in weight line by line—a condensed initial line spans the width, followed by the bold and deeply hatched slab-serif “BUT OVERCOME,” which catches the eye with wood-cut texture and beveled edges that echo vintage letterpress methods.
