Design story & product details
Celadon Study is built around a tall maebyeong-style vase, its narrow neck opening into a broad, rounded shoulder before the body narrows toward a flared, ribbed foot. A sage-green glaze covers the vessel, held in a continuous dark contour that gives the silhouette measured definition. The neck remains plain green with dark banding, while the mouth shows a cream-colored interior.
The main body is filled with orderly rows of circular medallions, each bounded by two fine rings. Within every circle, one white crane flies with wings stretched wide, a thin beak forward and legs trailing behind; cream-white scrolling cloud and vine marks pack the spaces between.
The lower third changes its rhythm: vertical lancet panels rise in tall pointed arches, each holding small white dots stacked into triangular groupings. At the base, the glazed surface stops at an exposed tan-ochre band around the foot rim, a material break beneath the dense patterning.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the vase is paired with the words Celadon Study in widely spaced, dark green-black serif capitals, followed by a fine rule. Korea 2026 appears below in a lighter green serif, with a single centered dot completing the inscription.
