Design story & product details
The grey field is deliberately left open through the middle-left and middle-right, forming a pause inside an otherwise crowded arrangement. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Pullover Hoodie, Cherub Love places a black-and-white cherub at the top centre: curly-haired, winged, and cross-legged, with his feet overlapping the lettering below. Brushy stencil texture disrupts the high-contrast rendering, giving the figure irregular light and dark breaks instead of smooth shading. Four tattoo-style rose clusters frame him in measured symmetry, each made from white-filled, black-outlined petals and jagged leaves.
- Love arrives in huge distressed block letters, alternating white-filled characters with grey negative-space letterforms.
- Torn and spray-like edges scatter around the word, while its letters step off a uniform baseline.
- Openmind forms a dense bottom line in rounded white sans serif, its tightly packed letters scored with scratches.
Love and Openmind are the only words in the artwork. The upper roses are noticeably larger than the lower pair, and the clear central side spaces across the grey field keep the design from closing in completely, even as its top and bottom elements press toward one another.
