The Dahlia Afterimage print gives the Classic Cotton Tote Bag a botanical mark with a flower head drawn at generous scale. Its centre is packed with small petals, tightly crowded before the broader outer petals turn outward in pointed hooks. Dusty rose and pale beige carry most of the bloom, held by dark burgundy contours and shaded passages.
Below it, a slender burgundy stem takes an unstraight course: it curves right, bends back left, then heads on a diagonal. Near the base, a broad leaf curls downward to the left while a longer serrated leaf reaches upper right. Their dark interiors are broken by beige veins. Two loose curling petals remain apart in the open area to the left of the stem, giving the drawn parts room without adding any words.
The mark relies on layered linework to describe the flower’s movement. Fine curved streaks follow the petals, while speckled, worn-looking patches interrupt the dusty rose and pale beige fills. Burgundy functions as both outline and shadow, so the bloom holds together while the stem and leaves remain distinctly articulated.
