Design story & product details
Broad empty fields hold apart the dragon’s rising silhouette, the Korean lettering and the riverfront below, giving Han River Nocturne room to read as a single scene. The artwork appears on a Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt, built around a long neck emerging from flattened oval ripples and bending into a head turned to the right. Dense drawing stays contained within that open structure.
Heavy, angular Korean words mean “Han River’s Night.” Their cream faces and dark outlines follow the open curve beside the neck, while a small city line develops beneath: dark buildings carry warm window marks on one side, with a cable-supported bridge and shorter structures on the other. One small orange eye, held beneath a heavy brow, gives the head its sharpest point of colour.
The mark is made through contrasting surfaces. Overlapping pointed scales build the neck’s left edge, while broad curved bands cross its front. Swept-back horns, jagged mane strands, a pointed beard and two fine curling whiskers break the head’s outline. Charcoal black leads the drawing, with slate-grey shading, sandy cream highlights, restrained ochre accents and a speckled texture worked through the detail.
