Design story & product details
A small curl of steam lifts from the cream cup at lower left, where a dark skyline circles the cup beneath the books. Its quiet line is answered by four-point stars placed in the open spaces around the composition.
Heavy Reading Seoul is a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt built around a tall, richly layered stack of burgundy and nearly black volumes, their gold bands and floral ornaments picked out between the shadows. A striped tabby has claimed the open book at the top, front paws resting over its pages while its tail follows the left edge of the stack. The large cream serif title bends across two densely arranged rows, edged in fine burgundy and backed by a deep burgundy-black dimensional shadow.
An angled brass-coloured lamp crosses the books on the right, with round spectacles below and ivy threading around the base and outer edge. Burgundy fringe gathers around the lower books, while a curled cream ribbon carries the final reading prompt. Spine details include “Good Books Bright Days” and “A Brighter Tomorrow,” giving the stack the character of a carefully imagined library shelf.
The artwork also includes Korean lettering meaning Seoul; it appears alongside the English place name on a book spine. “One More Chapter” completes the illustrated reading scene without breaking its dense, bookish arrangement.
