Open space follows the diagonal reach of a hand and leaves the bird’s small form unusually clear. Held Songbird on a Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt centres its attention on that exchange: a bird facing right, balanced on one raised fingertip. Its rounded head carries a dark navy cap and cream cheek, while a short pointed beak gives the profile a precise finish.
The breast is cream but worked through with fine navy strokes, and the wing is built from overlapping feathers with ochre-edged, navy-centred sections. Long, narrow tail feathers fall toward the lower right. Thin claws curl over the fingertip, a small contact point that keeps the bird from reading as merely placed on the hand.
Fine linework gives the mark its measured density. Navy contours and close hatching model the cream hand, including the knuckles, loosely bent fingers, and individually outlined nails. The wrist ends in a ribbed navy cuff, drawn with the same disciplined repetition.
