Design story & product details
“House” and “Pickle” are drawn in large, heavy black serif letters, split by a vertical pickle and bent along the rise of a white ribbon. On the Classic Dad Hat, the embroidered artwork reads as one compact band, with each word pressing toward the middle while the surrounding field stays open.
- The ribbon climbs through the middle in white, defined by a thick black contour and finished with notched tails on both sides.
- A tall green pickle breaks through the ribbon’s upper border, its irregular curved edge carrying rounded bumps and tapered black marks within.
- Two yellow oval patches appear inside the pickle; the lower one is crossed by a short green stroke, while more yellow shows beneath the curled ribbon ends.
The letters use solid black fills, so the pickle becomes the central interruption without competing outlines around the type. Its placement makes the arch feel deliberately interrupted, with the ribbon continuing cleanly behind the green form.
