Design story & product details

The lettering is heavy, stencil-cut capitals with a worn, speckled finish, rising slightly to the right: I Book Trips Around the Pool. It sounds like a travel agent’s boast, but this guy’s only trips start at the end of a diving board, folded into a tight pike with his hands on his ankles.

Halftone dots across his back and legs give it the feel of an old sports comic, and the red-orange shorts are the one warm color on this oversized crewneck tee. It suits a diving coach on meet day.
