Design story & product details

The word Thorns is drawn huge in condensed cream capitals with pointed, flared serifs and a grainy colored-pencil finish. The prickly pear pads show through every gap between the letters. Small serif capitals above it finish the line: I brought the thorns. It reads like a confession from the friend who is all sharp edges, and the three coral blooms on top show there is something soft in there.

On this hoodie, the hand-shaded spines are the detail worth owning. It suits a plant mom with a windowsill full of cactus.
