Peach petals turn deep crimson at their tips, and that same dark red runs down into the big, swashy retro letters underneath. A king protea drawn in fine etched hatching, with a spiky cream crown, spreads over the line I like my florals oversized. One petal hangs over the top of the last word. The joke is about the bloom’s size, and it suits a roomy heavyweight tee just as well.

It’s a good birthday gift for a gardener who brags about growing the biggest flowers on the block.
