Description
Block lettering in cream, dusky blue, and golden yellow announces the phrase “I Stopped To Watch The Ferry Again,” layered so close that the letters nearly touch one another. Taller words are edged with a navy blue shadow, giving extra depth without losing the integrity of the clear, all-caps message. The middle segment switches chromatically, alternating stripes of deep navy and dense golden yellow.
As the words reach the phrase “the ferry,” their lower halves are pressed into a backdrop of white-capped waves, the marks growing sharper and more erratic. Above those foam-lines, a stylized ferry in two shades of blue and off-white cuts through the scene, its clean outline edging into the colored lettering which partially obscures the hull. The artwork covers most of the central chest, leaving only the narrowest space between print and fabric edge on this heavyweight unisex crewneck T-shirt.
Small, angular lines within the ferry illustration build its sense of movement, while the subtle shadowing on each letter reflects the uninterrupted stacking of the phrase.
