Description
The artwork uses bold, graffiti-style block letters spelling out ‘MANHATTAN BRIDGE’ in thick cream fills edged with black, the surface cracked and weathered as if carved from aged stone or distressed timber. Below, a line of smaller, straight-edged text—’HOMEWARD ON FOOT’—is neatly bracketed by horizontal rules. The letterforms build a visual foundation, their presence anchoring the composition’s weight directly to the bottom of the garment’s print area.
Above the lettering, an intricate monochrome scene unfolds in dense crosshatching and stippling. The viewer’s eye is drawn deep into the perspective of a suspension bridge walkway flanked by a Gothic-arched stone and steel tower.
