Description
The embroidery uses nothing but light outlines in a washed neutral grey for each letter, so the text feels present without shouting. The top line, gently arched, uses a blocky slab-serif style that passes its visual weight down to the second line below. The words “MEET AT THE LEDGE” are rendered with double outlines, their interiors fully open, giving the marks a look that is detailed but not busy.
Just beneath the last word, a stepped violet band provides the brightest moment on the artwork. It runs horizontally before dipping down to the right in a single sharp move, making its geometric shape clear even at a glance. The bold hue sets a firm border but avoids heaviness, since the rest of the design uses only delicately-traced lines.
The classic dad hat puts the outlined slab-serif text front and center as embroidery, each letter’s edges sewn in a light tone with interiors left unfilled. The stitching shows careful spacing between the double lines, so every part of the outline reads as intentional.
