Description
The cool gray ground frames a composition built around subtle color contrasts: golds and browns from the elaborate rococo arch set against washed sepia and soft cream, with clusters of pink camellia-like blooms sprawling through the columns. A softly rendered woman in profile at the center lets the ornate border become a visual pause, her eyes closed and a few loose strands escaping from a low bun.
