Design story & product details
A textured cream full moon, freckled with grey crater marks, forms the broad field behind two red-crowned cranes whose black-and-white wingtip feathers are individually worked. Midnight Palace is a Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt carrying a moonlit Korean palace scene built from navy, blue and cream, with red reserved for the cranes and a rectangular seal. Its cream serif lettering is heavy with black edging, creating a poster-like contrast against the navy banner.
A dark blue scalloped cloud and a column of coordinates provide graphic counterpoint to the moon. Beneath the clouds, the palace roof is drawn with layered eaves and fine dot-and-line trim, while the gnarled pine breaks into cream needle clusters. The hanging bell ends in a fish charm, an unusually delicate counterweight to the roof’s measured geometry. The vertical Korean wording means “the middle of autumn,” a traditional name for the harvest festival, and the red seal reads “moonlight.”
