Design story & product details

A vintage movie theater marquee swings in at a steep angle with its bulbs lit, announcing “My Friday Starts With the Previews” in navy slab capitals and tall red letters. The joke is for anyone who gets to the theater early on purpose, because the trailers are half the fun. On this oversized heavyweight tee, the engraved underside, ridged and dotted with oval lights, gives it the look of an old movie palace.

It makes an easy birthday gift for a movie buff who wants to be seated before the lights go down.
