Design story & product details
A thin rusted leg is bolted straight into the fish body, a small construction detail that makes the sign read as metal, not a flat emblem. Dark teal-blue paint is broken by rust-brown streaks and pitting, and the open mouth is crossed by a white curve suggesting gills or water in motion. Its large round eye has a yellow-gold iris, black pupil, and a narrow white accent. The iris is ringed by a pale edge.
- “NORYANGJIN” rises in bold pink letters, with thick black outlines and a brown drop shadow following the curved body.
- “FISH” is larger, in white block lettering with black and brown edging, while “MARKET” returns to pink on a gentle downward curve near the tail.
- Vertical white stripes run through the curved dorsal fin and its matching tail, echoed by the smaller pectoral and belly fins.
