"Pear Season" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

White space does much of the work around the single word Pear, leaving its four dark blue-purple letters cleanly isolated against the white ground. The lettering rises in a restrained arch: the inner A and E climb a little higher, while the P tilts outward to the left and the R answers it to the right. On the Classic Dad Hat, that small shift gives the word a measured spread without making the letters touch. Thick outlines hold each character in place, with slim white inset lines close to their edges.

Closely stacked white horizontal strokes run through much of the letterforms, tapering as they approach their ends and breaking the dark colour into a deliberate rhythm. Broad openings are left intact in the P and R bowls, while the A’s triangular counter stays clear and the E keeps white channels between its arms. The lower serifs flare into crisp corners, especially at the base, giving the word a firm finish while the surrounding field remains entirely unmarked. There is no secondary mark to interrupt the spacing or compete with the lettering’s carefully preserved interior spaces.
