"Pear Starburst" Classic Dad Hat · Embroidered

Embroidery gives Pear Starburst a raised, thread-built edge on the Classic Dad Hat, where the word Pear is built from dark burgundy-red serif letters instead of a flat field of colour. Narrow white channels travel inside the thick red strokes, so the stems, rounded bowls, diagonals and slab-like serifs read as layered stripes. The thread treatment keeps the open interiors clear: P and R retain white upper counters, while A carries a triangular opening and broad crossbar. Each character remains legible as a separate stitched silhouette.

The lettering makes a low, relaxed arch, with E and A lifted slightly over the outer letters. There is a small asymmetry in the gesture: P tips left, R tips right. Between E and A, a four-point burgundy sparkle is worked with a white centre; it comes close to their lower edges without joining them. White negative space is left around the lettering and inside each form, giving the stitched construction room to register.
