Description
Deep reds from the bold serif letters settle against the subdued shades of dusty pink and cream woven into the trio of peony blooms. Water droplets cling to the curve of nearly every spiral petal, anchoring the flowers visually to their leafy, intertwined stems and the clean, crisp white space that holds the print together. Between the letters, vertically set phrases add a deliberate layer, demarcated by subtle diamond shapes. The largest word—PEONIES—runs tall, and its lengthwise lines give it an almost architectural presence at the heart of the artwork.
