Description
A single rose, its petals layered and stem thorned, stretches across the cream and black keys of the piano, with three fallen petals scattered below as if left after a performance. The woodgrain of the piano adds texture beneath the crosshatched shadows, and small flower motifs appear in each lower corner of the composition’s dense, gold and black filigree frame.
