Design story & product details
Three long, curved horizontal slots run across the console front, their lines echoed by the rounded body around them. Cream surfaces meet tan edging and black recessed bands, and the tan border follows the outer contour.
Quiet Frequency is an illustration for the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt: a seated gorilla wearing over-ear headphones leans over a rounded double-turntable console. Dense black fur is drawn with fine cream and grey strokes. Pale beige fills the face, chest, fingers, and toes, where dark stippling and creases mark the surface.
Both hands reach toward the equipment, one held over the left record and the other near the central controls. The two black discs show concentric grooves and ochre labels, with small upright knobs crowded onto the dark rectangular panel between them. The controls form a tight cluster in the narrow gap.
A thin tan elliptical line loops behind the head and shoulders, leaving broad empty areas around its curves and between the figure and the line. Large bare toes extend below either side of the console. Slogan, or caption.
