Design story & product details
Open space gives the composition its first pause: the rabbit faces a broad moon with its back turned, while the words arc and stack overhead. “The rabbit” is drawn in pale cream script, its tall loops and extended strokes crossing the heavy serif “looking at Earth.” Beneath them, From the Moon is separated into small, widely spaced capitals. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the artwork keeps its airy margins intact instead of crowding the scene.
The moon is cream, held by a fine grey edge and a scatter of dark scuffs. Its muted grey-beige patches gather unevenly on the right and along the lower rim, leaving the left expanse notably bare. Fine grey contours describe the rabbit’s haunches and scalloped tail; dark marks inside the mismatched ears make the rear view especially clear. Small outlined circles, flecks, and a few shaded dots hang around the moon, while broken ground strokes stop short of the rabbit on one side.
