Design story & product details
The comparatively open upper-middle sky gives the arched message room to read through diagonal rain: “I just want to drink coffee and pet my dog today.” White lettering has a fine black outline, moving between looping script and narrow, emphatic capitals.
Beneath it, a brown-haired woman in a turtleneck holds a black mug while cradling a black dog. Muted teal, olive, brown, and black build the dark forest behind them, with dense leaves gathering around the figures.
The typography changes scale and pace through the composition, including a small script word before a flat line of capitals. Large flowing cursive completes the lower text, bracketed by two matching white-outline scroll flourishes. A jagged scalloped edge gives the whole image the contour of a worn stamp.
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the illustration retains its close, poster-like arrangement: foliage presses in from the lower half and side edges, while rain marks the clearer patch of sky behind the words.
