Design story & product details

A jagged cream patch, edged like torn paper and tilted at an angle, holds the heavy block-lettered title of the artwork: read the crossing swells. Under those offset letters, a breakwater composed of linked, tetrapod-like stones stretches diagonally to a lighthouse, drawn in fine interlocking forms surrounded by dense crosshatched waves in deep teal and white.
