Description
Slate-gray and black play across the front of the dad hat, with block letters delivering the only message: SANS PODIUM. The sharper corners of the A, N, M, and U catch light a bit differently where their tops meet, courtesy of angular notches on every serif point. SANS is straight-cut and evenly spaced, above PODIUM, which lifts in an arch—each letter aligned along a curve, but tilted at the ends, a subtle shift that you might only spot after a moment.
Enough space has been left open above and along the sides, so the lettering controls where the eye travels. The mid-gray background remains flat, never competing for attention with the embroidery’s thick outlines and clever bevels. There are no extra graphics, borders or shadows, only the interplay of notched corners, blocky letterforms and the lack of ornamentation. No non-English lettering appears on the piece; the phrase SANS PODIUM refers to ‘without podium’ in French.
