Description
Jagged shards in two distinct blues and a vivid translucent green dominate the print, their energy drawn out by rough, scratchlike lines and scattered white flecks. Each piece is traced with pale highlights that give a sense of glass surfaces and captured light. The negative space above and between them sharpens the edges, letting these fractured forms feel as if they float in air.
A thick wave rises from the lower left, its arched body built from chunky blue lines with a row of foamy bubbles sweeping along the crest. Droplets and rounded bubbles, some crisp, others faded, drift around the shapes, blurring the line between sea spray and broken glass.
At the base, ornate lettering reads SEA GLASS, with gothic capitals that offer both sharpness and delicacy. The first word is blue with a white outline, the second is green, unified by stylized flourishes that angle off the edges of the letters.
