Design story & product details
A dense black-and-red ink composition changes the Unisex Longsleeve T-shirt into Seoul City Collage, built around enormous angular Seoul and Korea lettering. Thick black strokes carry white interior openings and narrow seams of white between the two rows, while red slashes and dotted marks interrupt the hard geometry. Outlined skyscrapers rise behind the lettering, including a tall observation tower with a red-tipped antenna.
A low city silhouette meets curving roadway-like streaks that draw inward near the middle. The Korean words mean Seoul’s night and appear between red four-point stars, followed by widely spaced K-Culture lettering framed with thin black rules. One easily missed detail is the pointed enclosure at the base: it closes around an outlined star while leaving a clear field of white around the smaller words.
The mark is made through deliberate contrast between heavy letter blocks and finer perimeter details. Ribbon-like black contours curl around the sides and lower edge, joined by checkerboard squares, outlined bars, halftone patches, dots, and small starbursts. Black splatter clusters near the skyline and the red interruptions in the lettering keep the composition from resolving into a rigid grid.
