Design story & product details
Gold-edged feather barbs stack in layered symmetry, each outlined with black strokes and set against a flat gray backdrop. The blackletter text arches above, with ‘SHELTER IN THE WINGS’ rendered in weighty gothic forms, thinly lined in gold and edged by ornate flourishes and crosses. Scattered gold sparkles, thorny vine curls, and a banner reading ‘A PLACE TO REST’ in serif capitals bracket the text and wings, with cross finials anchoring the corners.
Looking closely, the feather clusters are densely nested, with the main outlines crisp and the gold-tan edges consistent along each row, but the feather tips curve closely at the bottom, framing an open space near the center.
