Design story & product details
Dark green leaves and cream ribbons form a tight oval around the bearded sailor, while small gold berries break up the foliage. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, his crossed arms, ribbed cap band, and curving cream-and-green stripes give the figure a compact, emblem-like presence. The open white channels around his head and shoulders keep the leafwork from closing in.
The pipe extending to the right is easy to miss at first, especially its fine curl of smoke rising from the bowl. His forearms carry a compass rose, sailing ship, anchor, wheel, and curling waves, making the tattoos read as a connected sailor’s record instead of loose symbols.
Fine dark hatching works through the face, beard, fingers, sleeves, and stripes, bringing depth to an otherwise restrained green, cream, and gold palette.
