Design story & product details

Clear ice shards scatter into empty space at the lower right, as if the flake under the lens had started to come apart. The joke is in the torn-paper headline: snow looked simple until somebody put one flake under a microscope. A gloved hand holds it with tweezers, and the round magnifier turns it into a feathered six-armed crystal. On this longsleeve tee, the navy engraving looks like a plate from an old lab manual.

It makes a good gift for a science teacher who still gets excited about the first snow of the year.
