Design story & product details
Empty gray ground leaves room around a striped tabby rendered in dense sepia, black, and cream linework. The cat is upright in profile but turns its face forward, creating a small change in direction between body and gaze. One front paw rests on a ribbed sock with a gold-tan cuff, while the tail curves forward to gather around the paws. On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, the illustration keeps the animal’s fine fur marks legible, from curved strokes over the chest to darker marks at the ear tips.
Dark charcoal patches break up the cream coat at the tail tip and along the tabby striping. Beneath the drawing, SOCK is the only lettering: an English word for the knitted foot covering held under the cat’s paw. Its cream letters have a narrow dark edge and restrained serif flourishes, giving the word a deliberate, almost label-like finish without competing with the drawing.
- The cat fills the upper two-thirds of the composition.
