The letterforms are deliberately crowded, leaving thin channels between their heavy strokes. Broad slab serifs supply the structure, softened at the corners so the weight does not turn hard-edged. The O’s counter is unusually tall and narrow, closed by rounded ends that echo the softened exterior. In FRUIT, the R is especially compact: a small enclosed counter leads into a dense diagonal leg.
