Description
Open space beneath the red word keeps the artwork from needing any extra emblem or flourish. Subject To Snacks appears on an embroidered Classic Dad Hat as two rising, arched lines of uppercase slab-serif type: a white “SUBJECT TO” and a larger red “SNACKS,” each held by thick black outlines. No other drawing enters that open field.
The composition does not treat the upper line as one uninterrupted phrase. A wider break between “SUBJECT” and “TO” gives the small final word its own pause, while narrow white channels divide the other letters and separate the two rows. “SNACKS” carries the wider span and is visibly taller than the line overhead. Its outside S forms lean away from the centre; clipped corners cut into the S, C and O alongside heavy stems and square serifs.
Embroidery follows the type’s blunt geometry, preserving the dark perimeter around both colour treatments and keeping the white interiors of the upper letters distinct from the red lower row. The arched baseline lifts toward the middle before falling at either end, so the lettering has a broad, sign-like sweep without adding imagery below it.
