Design story & product details
On the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt, distressed ink breaks Sun, Beach & Party into worn cream flecks, leaving white intervals between the figure, trunks, and type. A dark-haired woman turns right with her eyes shut, orange lips, and curls swept through with orange marks. Her twisted orange-and-cream bandeau meets teal high-waisted shorts, while a small round pendant is picked out at her chest. Dark brown contouring and shaded patches give the figure its drawn depth.
- Teal palm fronds overlap across the upper field, with a tall orange trunk rising at the right.
- A yellow sun disk with a brown rim and short radiating strokes forms a backdrop over the crown of curls.
- Hollow brown Sunset Beach letters rise vertically at left, partly obscured, while pale orange Sun, Beach & Party is condensed down the right.
Est. 1961 leads into heavy brown Beach Club below the illustration, with Paradise in smaller letters underneath. The open white separations are deliberate parts of the composition, keeping the palm leaves, body, trunk, and lettering from running together.
