Design story & product details
Red and navy-blue meet through a rough cream brushstroke, giving the taegeuk at the heart of Taegeukki Korea a worked, hand-painted edge. On the Heavy Blend Unisex Crewneck Sweatshirt, the emblem is framed by a fine gold circle and a narrow vertical gold rule that passes through a small central dot. TAEGUKKI rises in tall distressed serif capitals with a restrained gold/tan glow, while a tiny gold star hovers over the G. Taegeukki is a Korean term meaning the Korean national flag; KOREA appears below in spaced serif lettering.
- Four black trigrams angle outward from the circle, each built from broken and solid brush-textured bars.
- Gold flecks are concentrated on the navy portion, not evenly distributed across the red.
- Red, blue, and black splashes pull from the sides and lower edge, leaving the upper spaces near the title comparatively open.
The lower wordmark is held between two thin gold lines, echoing the ring without making the layout rigid. Its distressed type, paint marks, and measured empty space retain the feel of a graphic assembled in layers.
