Design story & product details

Snow has packed into every chip of the white armor, and the red marking on the shield is scuffed and faded. The title, The Mountain Takes Cover, carries the joke: the soldier is so massive he could be the mountain, yet he still braces behind a shield as the storm comes down and a gold sun breaks over the far peaks.

Hung as a wooden framed poster in a game room, it suits a son who paints miniature armies and makes a fine birthday gift for him.
