Description
A concise sense of depth runs through the design, leaving the bottom left corner soft and unadorned for contrast. Dark navy and cream inks create a two-tone scene: tall serif slab letters announce ‘THE WAVE BELOW’, marked by cream fills edged in navy with thin vertical inner lines, while flanking horizontal dashes visually anchor the text. The artwork flows downward into a stippled breaking wave divided by a crisp line from the submerged view beneath.
Beneath the surface, a wetsuited diver with a mask and fins moves diagonally into layered water, tracked by a faint line of descending tick marks. Cream-on-navy current and foam swirls drift downward, feathering into the deep. Three precise labels—’SURFACE’, ‘DESCENT’, ‘RETURN’—guide the journey alongside a circular ‘OPEN WATER’ badge edged in tiny stars. Minuscule dots and dashes fill grey space at the borders, quiet but deliberate.
