Design story & product details

An open jacket, drawn in fine crosshatched engraving, turns out to be a steel construction site inside, with riveted girders, trusses and hanging chains bracing its quilted lining. Bolted across the frame in plated block letters is the verdict: this jacket needs a building permit. The best touch is the small middle phrase, hung from a girder like a sign lifted by a crane, and the whole joke works especially well on a hoodie.

It makes a good Father’s Day gift for a dad who works in construction.
