Design story & product details
The print gives the Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt a weathered graphic field, where a rough yellow rectangle holds a singer in black, white, and yellow. Vintage Night NYC builds around the open-mouthed portrait: closed eyes, fine curling hair spreading around the head, and a raised hand closing around a microphone angled across the image. Black stars, white four-point sparkles, flecks, and scraped interruptions crowd the remaining ground.
Heavy black Vintage runs in a straight line across the upper edge, while Night appears smaller at the right. February 3rd, 1977 cuts through a black band in yellow, with the rd lifted above the baseline. From the Heart of leads into a larger NYC below. The microphone cable curves down the right side, and narrow yellow channels remain beside the spreading hair.
Dense halftone dots shape the face, neck, and hand, giving the dark areas a grain that breaks into worn patches. Distressed fills interrupt both headline lines without a contour around them. The black lower band and yellow strip make firm horizontal cuts through the crowded image, while the cable and hair carry the portrait on a diagonal.
