Design story & product details
A rounded shield badge gives Wilderness Explorer its governing silhouette, bounded by a thick dark forest-green edge. Angular mountain masses fill its upper field, with the tallest peak held on the central axis and tan wedges cutting into the slopes. Fine green horizontal lines continue through the open ground behind the range.
“Wilderness” follows the upper curve in widely spaced serif capitals, green with a narrow pale line drawn inside each letter. Across the badge, “Explorer” is much larger: heavy slab-serif capitals ride a curved cream banner, edged in layers of green and crossed by fine horizontal stripes within the letterforms. “Adventure” narrows beneath it on tan, bracketed by small dots and tapering horizontal marks.
The bottom resolves into an olive-green point, completing the shield without adding another line of type. White wear marks are not confined to one surface; irregular chips, scratches, and blotches break through the mountains, border, banner lettering, and lower details, including a few small interruptions in the broad Explorer forms.
The Wilderness Explorer artwork appears on a Heavyweight Unisex Crewneck T-shirt as a single, built-up badge composition. Its stacked lettering and mountain geometry preserve trail-emblem logic while the pale abrasion marks give the inked forms an uneven, handled surface.
