Description
Windward lettering forms the largest shape here, climbing through a broad upward arch in solid blue. The central letters reach the high point, while the first W and final D fall toward opposite lower corners and tip outward. The arch is broad enough to read as a span, not a tight semicircle.
Every character is built with hefty strokes and pronounced serifs that soften at their edges without losing their block-like weight. The blue is uninterrupted by an outline or shadow; the white inside the D, A, and R is left open, making those counters part of the drawing.
An orange-red stroke runs beneath with considerable space left between it and the word. It starts low on the left, gathers thickness through the central sweep, then rises rightward before turning gently down into a rounded tip.
On the Classic Snapback, the embroidery preserves the separation between the arched letters and the lone curve, so the two elements read independently. That unusually wide interval keeps the underline from behaving like a direct baseline in the final composition.
