Printed in ink on fleece, the scratchy engraved hatching in every letter keeps its grain, so Winter, in Longhand reads like an old etching. The title is the joke. The swashed W unspools into a cream ribbon that becomes the looping tracks under a figure skater on one blade, her red sash streaming as ice sprays from her edge. On this crewneck sweatshirt, she is writing winter in cursive on the ice.
